Berkeley Life is a science-backed nitric oxide wellness & supplement company that had built the business through healthcare practitioners for the past 5 years.
In 2024, Emily came onboard as CMO to drive the direct-to-consumer launch—entering a crowded supplement market where most consumers didn’t yet understand nitric oxide or why it mattered.
Achieved improved paid media efficiency (CTR & ROAS), new marketing team and agency partners, and increased revenue MoM.
Built the consumer brand positioning, visual identity system, and messaging, producing new creative and messaging across all touch points.
Defined core audiences (men & women 40+) through research, workshops, paid media and creative sprints
Led multi-channel growth across DTC, Amazon, national HCP market, Healf, and affiliates
Integrated marketing including: paid social ads (Meta, google, media partners) email, podcasts, event marketing, brand partnerships, podcasts, and social channel revamp
Launched new website and optimized both HCP and DTC to increase conversion and time spent on site
Integrated AI tools and developed frameworks, processes, and scalable content systems
Weekly creative sprints to tested and optimize paid media
Formed strategic wellness partnerships (fitness clubs, doctor networks, 40+ wellness and women-led communities, ie Create & Cultivate, NY Fashion Week, Superage, etc)
Built out and managed the full marketing team, agencies, and partners
For HCP, supported sales team in all marketing efforts with focus on conferences, email, toolkits, and content creation for linkedin
Managed P&L and monthly budgets to achieve monthly / yearly goals
